On Thursday January 3 rd Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" is premiering on the NBC network. I did see a little of the show being filmed and took an “Oath of Omerta” on what I saw. What makes this version of “Apprentice” unique is that rather than vying for a job with Donald Trump, the contestants will be working towards a greater goal — raising over a million dollars for their various charities throughout the season. The final winner will have the opportunity to donate a $250,000 bonus check to their designated charity.

One of my favorite Sopranos, Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) will be a contestant, and after reading his profile on the NBC website, it really made me realize what a very special person he truly is with the charity he is supporting, the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (Mitchell Berke Memorial). If that's not enough to earn his wings, Vinny traditionally does something special for the Veterans at the Kingbridge Veterans Hospital in the Bronx for the holidays, this year on January 6, he has invited several of the Veterans and Sopranos cast members to the 3:00 pm performance of the Broadway show, “Chicago”, in which he and Aida Turturro are performing in.
