I see an angel got his wings the other night. I was invited to this event, but couldn't make it. Kudos to Robert Funaro (Eugene Pontecorvo) for organizing a benefit for comedian Chris Murphy. Bobby is also part of the cast of the play "Lamppost Reunion" which will open in November.

IGN.com announced that the video game, "Igor" which features the voice of Steve Buscemi (Tony Blundetto) will be released on September 19, 2008. I don't know which is correct, but Amazon is showing a date of September 16.

It's time to vote! This year's Emmy's will feature a viewer's choice of Best Dramatic moment in television, and a clip for The Sopranos episode "Pine Barrens" is one of the nominees. To vote, click here. And in true Soprano fashion, be sure to vote often!

Vincent Curatola's website has been updated, he will be making an appearance at the Barley's Golf Tournament being held in North Jersey tomorrow. Vince played the character of Johnny Sack.

I've mentioned the release of the movie, "Return to Sleepaway Camp" which features Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) and Tony Ray Rossi (Fred Peters). Vincent Pastore was recently interviewed by John over at the Sleepaway Camp film website. A reminder, it's Wednesday and as always its my favorite night of the week. It is the time to curl up in my recliner and listen to Vincent Pastore's Wise Guy Show on Sirius Radio Raw Dog 104. The program airs from 6 to 9 pm.

Reasons to start your holiday shopping early. On October 14, "Elmo's Christmas Countdown" will be released on DVD. The DVD features Steve Schirripa (Bobby Bacala) and Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts).

Happy belated birthday to Vince Curatola, who celebrated this very special day Saturday!

Alan Taylor, who directed one of my favorite Sopranos episodes "The Ride" has been tapped by HBO to direct a new comedy pilot of HBO entitled "Bored" according to The Hollywood Repporter.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Producer Bernie Brillstein, one of the driving forces that brought The Sopranos into our living rooms.

Who says you can't go home? Castmates from The Sopranos, Vincent Curatola (Johnny Sack), Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts), Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior Corrado Soprano) and Federico Castelluccio (Furio Guinta), met in a fifth floor parking garage in Newark to help the North Jersey FBI office to celebrate the agency's 100 th anniversary. A special thanks to MJH for sending me this.

Michael Imperioli's (Christopher Moltisanti) new television program, "Life on Mars" has started production according to the RedEye website. The program will air on October 9 at 9 pm on the ABC network.

TVSquad has an interview with Matt Weiner, creator of the AMC program "Mad Men" (which everyone is raving about) and a writer for "The Sopranos".

The movie "Brooklyn Rules" written by Terrace Winter and features Jeff Marchetti (Petey LaRosa), will be released on DVD on August 11. "Brooklyn Rules comes down to the choices faced by three young men when the right path is not always the easiest to follow, and when being a loyal friend can mean making the ultimate sacrifice." The movie is available from Amazon.
