Big happenings on November 7 (besides being Maureen Van Zandt's birthday), the play Lamppost Reunion, featuring a bunch of our favorite Sopranos, will open at the Arclight Theater (real easy to get to in NYC). Tickets are on sale via SmartTix.   You heard about this first, but I see The New York Post and The Star Ledger finally caught wind of the upcoming production of Louis LaRusso's play, Lamppost Reunion (I told everyone about this first - August 20, 2008 news!) . That's quite a cast they have assembled, including Frank Licato as Director. Tickets for this show are certain to sell out fast (it's a limited run). They are available via SmartTix.

For those in Great Britian, The Sopranos is now available for download through iTunes.

Mob Candy Magazine has a feature article about Frank Vincent (Phil Leotardo).

James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) will be part of the production of "Welcome to the Rileys" which is scheduled to start production on October 6 in Louisiana.

And you thought the internet was only for reading news... Thanks Don

I love when I hear that one of our boys are participating in something good! Tomorrow, September 11, James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) will be participating in the annual BGC's fourth annual Charity Day. One of the designated charity's is the Wounded Warriors Project.

Congratulations to Anthony, whose short film Bocce is the winner of the Italian American Heritage Award from the GIAA Festival of Short Films and Videos. Anthony will be receiving the award on October 5. For more information, visit the GIAA website. Anthony was one of the regular Sopranos watchers I hung out with. Congratulations! Anthony also has the Tony Mangia radio program which is New Jersey's only radio show devoted to the preservation of Italian culture.
