Television alert for tonight! My birthday twin, Al Sapienza (Mikey Palmice) will return as Mayor Frank Panzerella for the 3rd season of Brotherhood Season Three which premieres tonight, at 8:00 PM on Showtime. The Futon Critic, has a review and a synopsis of the show, which got excellent reviews.

A special thanks to MJH for this tip, Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) is in an upcoming video which will be released on January 13.

This Tuesday we have a few videos being released on DVD. The first I will mention is "Return To Sleepaway Camp" which features Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) and Tony Ray Rossi (Fred Peters), and if you watch carefully you may also see me (I am a camp counselor with a maroon/red shirt). The second is "The Good Life" which features Drea De Matteo (Adriana LaCuerva).

A Sopranos location event! The 1st Annual "Honoring our Veteran's" Ceremony at the historic Jersey City & Harismus Cemetery (The Soprano Family Cemetery) will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11th, at 12 Noon. The location is 435 Newark Avenue, Jersey City.

We have a new off broadway production which I am looking forward to attending. The name of the show is "Clemenza & Tessio Are Dead", which will have 4 performances only (November 14,15,21,22). The tag line for this show, "The Cannoli is Mightier than the Sword", will have performances at Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street (between 8 & 9 Ave) in Manhattan. Tickets are available via SmartTix. Here is a synposis of the show.

A little bit Stoppard, a little bit Puzo. You don't have to be a fan of "The Godfather" to enjoy this parody. Staged in conjunction with the Guild of Italian American Actors. Written & produced by Gregg Greenberg. Directed by Simcha Borenstein. Featuring Nick Raio, Dennis Wit and Troy Wyrick.

This week, I am getting a sneak peak at the play, "Lamppost Reunion", which I am pretty excited about. There are some really special tickets available, which include "meet & greets", cocktail hour and all sorts of extra special goodies, which weren't included with the regular admission tickets, which in the long run are a much better entertainment value. The really great thing about purchasing one of these seats is proceeds are benefiting established charities, so you can have fun while doing something good.

November 17 is for Vinny's favorite charity The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer. This performance will include a reception starting at 6 pm. For ticket information please contact Suzanne Beck at 516-803-2913 or click here. Included is a "meet & greet" with members of the cast. Celebrities are Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Researchalso expected at this event. The Lustgarten Foundation is also having a raffle where you and a guest can have dinner with 2 of the cast members of the play at DiNapoli, NYC* or a Frank Sinatra Photo taken and autographed by famed photographer George Kalinsky. To purchase a raffle ticket click here.

The November 13 show, will benefit the World Hunger Year Foundation which was started by Harry Chapin. Vinny mentioned several names who will probably be attendance that night, Cousin Brucie, Tom Chapin, and a few musicians, who by the way I saw at Giant Stadium (different shows at different times). So, if you are looking to go and support a really good cause, this would be a good night to go. Tickets for the November 13 performance can be purchased here.

November 28 there will be a special performance which will benefit The Books for Kids Foundation. Books for Kids is an early childhood literacy non-profit.   For more information on purchasing these tickets, call Anne Marie Principe at 212-252-9168 or they can be purchased on line by clicking here (link is below poster)..

We also have a contest where you can win an autographed poster from "Lamppost Reunion" which was signed by the cast (I will sign a certificate of authenticity if required since I was there when it was signed). To enter the contest to win one of the signed posters, click here.
