Soprano events !!!!!!!!
This weekend on Sunday, October 11, the First Annual RockAgainst Dystrophy will be held at Cha Cha's of Coney Island . Admission is $15.00 and proceeds will go to help find acure for Muscular Dystrophy, a group of genetic, hereditary muscle diseasesthat cause progressive muscle weakness.
The event/party starts at 1 pm with live rock music broughtto you by Odd Zero, Mistical Children, Lost Legacy, The Good and Plenty and myfavorite, Vincent Pastore and The BaDa BiNg BaNd!
Cha Cha's of Coney Island is located on the Coney Island Boardwalk at Stillwell Avenue. Directions are as following;
By subway:Take the downtown D/F/Q/N train tothe end of the line (StillwellAvenue). Exit the station and walk down Stillwell towards the water. Atthe boardwalk make a left - Cha Cha's is 2 doors down.
By car: Belt Parkway to Coney Island exit. Turn south on Ocean Parkway toward the water (the cross streets should be going from Avenue A to AvenueZ). After 2 overpasses, Ocean Parkway curves right and becomesSeabreeze. Seabreeze becomes Surf Avenue. Stay on Surf Avenue, past theNY Aquarium to Stillwell Avenue. Make left on Stillwell and park. WalkStillwell to the boardwalk. Cha Cha's is 2 doors on the left.
