I recently received this email and I expect to see everyone there(I'll be the one in the fortune tellers booth). I also will be donatingsome of my extra unique Sopranos Memoriabilia (aka the Soprano Sue collection) to be auctioned to raise money to help 2 of my favorite cast members (I am the president of the Ginny Sack fan club).

Tony has been ill with Diabetes and is now in a special care facility.Denise was diagnosed with Stage Four Liver Cancer last month. We allknow them and love them and its time we helped our own if we can - -and this fundraiser is all about helping them in their time of need.

Starting at 5 pm (doors open at 4 pm)this is an opportunity to meet several of our favorite celebrities fromtelevision, film and prominent sport figures. Admission to this event,will be ten dollars.

Congratulations to the cast of "Where the WIld Tings are", the film did extremely well in box office statistics in its opening weekend. Speaking of new releases, don't forget to catch Drea De Matteo (Adriana La Cuerva) in the film, "New York, I Love You."

Frank Vincent (Phil Leotardo) is expected in attendance at the Fort Lauderdale International FIlm Festival for the screening of his recent movie, "Chicago Overcoat".

Lorraine Bracco (Dr. Jennifer Melfi) will be the Honarary Chairperson of the 2 nd annual Gala of Hope event, being held at the Hard Rock Cafe, New York City on October 28, 2009

Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow Soprano) will be a guest on "Ugly Betty" this Friday, at 9 pm on the ABC network.

I hinted previously that the World Hunger event - WHY's Guys Rock the Hard Rock - being held at the Hard Rock Cafe New York City has the potential to be a Sopranos Reunion. I just got a partial listing of the expected cast members at the event. If you are attending, the Friday theatrical release of "Where the WIld Things Are", James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano), is one of the voices in this feature flick. If you haven't gotten a chance to see Mr. Gandolfini in the broadway play, "Gods of Carnage", you'd better hurry, he is expected to leave the cast around November 14.

On October 30, Aida Turturro (Janice Soprano) will be a guest on the 9 pm airing of the program "Medium" on the CBS network, according to the Futon Critic website.

And where was Frank Sinatra, Jr. when he was asked to do a cameo on "The Sopranos"?

The movie "Chicago Overcoat", premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival on October 10. The movie stars Frank Vincent (Phil Leotardo). It screens again on October 19, if you missed it.

John Ventimiglia (Artie Bucco) reads Jack Kerouac passages from the book "Big Sur" in the DVD, "One Fast Move or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur ."

I just found out that the guest MC's at the World Hungerthon event being held at NYC's Hard Rock Cafe next Thursday, October 22 include Vincent Curatola (Johnny Sack), Maureen Van Zandt (Gabriella Dante), Arthur Nascarella (Carlo Gervasi) (this could be the Sopranos Reunion you don't want to miss), May Pang, and other surprise celebrities. This weekend on Sunday, October 11, the First Annual RockAgainst Dystrophy will be held at Cha Cha's of Coney Island . Admission is $15.00 and proceeds will go to help find acure for Muscular Dystrophy, a group of genetic, hereditary muscle diseasesthat cause progressive muscle weakness.

Here's the latest on New Jersey's biggest rumor.... I guess it gets back to that song that played in our minds after seeing that final episode.

According to the SILive website, Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior Corrado Soprano), will be participating in the off-broadway production of "Still Life" which will have a limited run from October 6 to November 1 at the Lucille Lortel Theater in New York City.

Lorraine Bracco (Dr. Jennifer Melfi) will be a guest on the upcoming program, "Adventures with Ruth" a new travel/food show which premieres on October 17.

Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) has some events coming up. On August 27, he will host a Karoke night at Nico's in Staten Island. Check out the calendar on his website for more upcoming events.

Happy Birthday to my Birthday twin!

A great big birthday wish to my birthday twin, Al Sapienza! How old old are you? Al played the character of Mikey Palmice in the early seasons of The Sopranos, ever since that deadly jog he took one morning, he says he still jogs but remembers the bulletproof vest when he leaves the house in the morning. Al was part of the cast of "On the Waterfront" which gave a stellar performance on the waterfront of Hoboken, the last couple of nights. Heard it was a great show (I didn't make it).

This Saturday, August 1 on the NBC network, my very favorite Soprano, Steve Schirripa (Bobby Bacala) will be hosting the new show "Face the Ace" which has been generating a lot of positive buzz on the news wires. Steve has also been working on the "The Secret Life of an American Teenager". Steve was recently on The Today Show, you can see the clip here.

Joe Pantoliano (Ralph Cifaretto) will be presented the Saint Aire Award for his documentary, "No Kidding, Me Too!", by the Woods Hole Film Festival.

Expect to see Vincent Curatola (Johnny Sack) in the final season of "Monk" on the USA Network.

Jamie Lynn Sigler (Meadow Soprano) has joined the cast of "Ugly Betty".

It's raining here again, oh joy!

Performances of James Gandolfini's (Tony Soprano) play "Gods of Carnage" will resume on September 8, according to the article in Broadway World, it will continue until November 14. Mr. Gandolfini''s newest movie, "In The Loop" opens this Friday.

A reminder for this weekend, 27th annual Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival, will be bigger and better than past years, especially since Denise Borino (Ginny Sack) Tony Lip (Carmine Lupertazzi) and Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) will be participating in the festivities. Vinny recently celebrated his birthday at Cha Cha's Restaurant in Little Italy with a few of his closest and dearest friends.

If you missed Michael Imperioli's (Christopher Moltisanti) television show, "Life on Mars" it is being released on DVD on September 29. It can be pre ordered from Amazon here.

Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior Corrado Soprano) has signed on to be a New York City greeter.

This was definitely a "sighting" I would have loved to be at, Steve Buscemi (Tony Blundetto) and Martin Scorsese filming "Boardwalk Empire" in Brooklyn.

The story is set in 1950's Hoboken.Terry Malloy dreamsabout being a prize fighter, while tending his pigeons and runningerrands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the corrupt boss of thedockers union. Terry witnesses a murder by two of Johnny's thugs, andlater meets the dead man's sister. She introduces him to Father Barry,who tries to convince him to provide information for the courts thatwill tumble the racketeers. It was based on a series of articles written by the New YorkSun's, Malcolm Johnson. The film won eight academy awards including,best picture, best actor, and best director.

    July 8th, 2009 The New Artists Theater Company is proud to bring you a special two night presentation of Budd Schulberg's screenplay On the Waterfront , directed by Frank Licato, produced by Nick Puccio and The Hudson Film Group. Read by an extraordinary twenty -member ensemble cast that includes; Jason Cerbone, Robin Paul with Vincent Pastore and Robert Funaro of Sopranos fame and many other talented actors.

    Nick Puccio, The Hudson Film Group and entire cast and crew are donating this reading to the City of Hoboken. Garry Pastore of Hudson Film says," We thought it appropriate to present On The Waterfront which was filmed in Hoboken as our gift to the community. We know right now lots of families are hurting and cannot afford a night out. We wanted to make great theater available to everyone."

    The story is set in 1950's Hoboken .Terry Malloy dreams about being a prize fighter, while tending his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the corrupt boss of the dockers union. Terry witnesses a murder by two of Johnny's thugs, and later meets the dead man's sister. She introduces him to Father Barry, who tries to convince him to provide information for the courts that will tumble the racketeers. Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) from The Sopranos will be appearing at Cha Cha's of Coney Island, with The Lickety Split Band. Vincent & a special guest judge will be the judges of a Sopranos Look a Like Contest which has some fantastic prizes; guest spot in a film and a meal at Cha Cha's in Bocca Al Lupo, located in the heart of New York's Little Italy. Vincent will be signing memoriabilia.

Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) will be at the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival with his Lickety Split Band on July 24 at 7 pm. Tony Lip (Carmine Lupertazzi) and Denise Borino Quinn (Ginny Sack) also have events going on at this festival. On August 2,Jason Cerbone (Jackie Aprile, Jr) and Vincent will be doing a 'meet& greet" at Sullivan's on 600 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ. Therewill be a 10 dollar admission, which includes free ziti and pizza. Thetime to be there is 4 pm. There is also another event in Hoboken onJuly 27 & 28, which when I find out more you will also. Vinny & The Lickety Split Band will also be playing at Cha Cha's of Coney Island on August 6. On August 30, Vinny will be appearing at Uncle Vinny's Comedy Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. It finally stopped raining here in North Jersey, its giving everyone achance to mow the grass before it starts raining again later today.

Julianna Margulies (Julianna Skiff) new television series, "The Good Wife", will premiere on September 22, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Lighten up people! The group that owes their exsistance to The Sopranos, are now launching a protest about a recent Miller Lite commercial that the talented actor Frank Vincent (Phil Leotardo) is featured in. Hey I don't see anyone complaining about how they portray women in this one.
